Cycles Wolff American
A grandiose example of Belle Epoque poster work, this rider enjoys her Wolff so much that she is compelled to fling flower petals in joy. Despite the number of French bicycle manufactures, American made bicycles were coveted in France. Bicycle branding is most commonly found in head badge art, which is featured prominently to the right of the bicycle shown here. Like many brands during the bicycle boom, Cycles Wolff American was a short lived company, producing bicycles in New York City for only 5 years from 1895 to 1900.
